About the Awards
The Blockchain NZ & Web3NZ Awards are designed to recognize and celebrate the exceptional individuals and organizations that have significantly advanced the blockchain and Web3 sectors over the past year. With awards presented in both Individual and Business categories, we aim to highlight the remarkable achievements within our community.
Web3NZ Award Nomination Selection
Nominations for the Blockchain NZ & Web3NZ Awards will open on October 1, 2024, and close on October 30, 2024. Please note that nominations and voting for Blockchain NZ and Web3NZ will be hosted separately. So if you are a Blockchain NZ member looking to nominate a company or individual for a Blockchain NZ award, keep an eye out in your inbox!

To be eligible for nomination, companies must be listed on the web3nz.xyz ecosystem map. Anyone can nominate, and you can submit multiple nominations across any category!
How to Nominate
- Check out the award category information below and fill in your nominations via this form. Please ensure the company you are nominating is located on the ecosystem map.
- Both company and individual submissions can be submitted through this form, though individual nominations will be evaluated independently.
If there are insufficient nominations for a category, our panel of judges from Web3NZ and BlockchainNZ will select companies to fill finalist positions, ensuring a competitive and representative awards process.

Voting Process
Once nominations are finalized, the top 4-5 finalists in each category will be entered into the voting process.
Voting Details:
- There will be separate voting processes for BlockchainNZ and Web3NZ members.
- Voting for Web3NZ finalists will take place via a poll in www.webnz.xyz community.
- Voting opens on November 1, 2024, and closes on November 20, 2024 at 5pm NZT.
For BlockchainNZ finalists, voting will occur on the BlockchainNZ system. Members will receive further instructions via email, so keep an eye on your inbox!
